A Nottinghamshire based rescue aimed at rescuing stray and unloved cats, and rehabilitating and releasing British wildlife.
Feline and Wildlife (FAW) Rescue Nottingham was co-founded by two registered veterinary nurses who saw the demand for rescue spaces for stray and unwanted cats, and for wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. They have since expanded their team to include over twenty cat fosterers and multiple experienced wildlife rehabilitators, in addition to many fundraisers and transporters.
We rescue and re-home stray, abandoned and neglected cats, and rescue, rehabilitate and release varying British wildlife species.
Your support and contributions will enable us to help animals across Nottinghamshire. We cannot do our work without funding.

As of 19th May 2022: Nottingham is currently within a Avian Flu protection and surveillance zone.
As most of our volunteers work in veterinary practice we are struggling to assess and rehab critical/young birds. A lot of veterinary practices can only offer end of life care due to the risk to human health and pet birds.
We are sorry and saddened for the inability to help in a lot of cases, we will try to continue to advise but it is likely we will refer cases onwards to other rescues.
We will update if and when the situation changes.
Thank you for understanding,
Team FAW
